Simply Beautiful

 

This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP.

For This Tutorial I used PSP X2 but you should be able to use any version.


~ Supplies Needed ~

Template 25 from Dezigns by Ali

Tube of choice

Scrapkit: Simply Colours by Sharon Becker this is a PTU kit and can be purchased here

Font used ~ Dragonfly ~

 

1.) Open up your template.

2.) Open 2/3 papers of choice from your kit

3.) Open embellishments of choice from your kit

4.) Open your tube

 

5-A.) Select the "Back" layer of your template. Go to Selections>Select All. Go back to Selections>float. Go back to Selections>defloat. Go to Adjustments>Softness>Soften. Copy your darker paper, and paste as a new layer. Go to Selections>Invert, hit delete.

 

5-B.) Select the "Circle 1" layer of your template. Go to Selections>Select All. Go back to Selections>float. Go back to Selections>defloat. Go to Adjustments>Softness>Soften. Copy your lighter paper, and paste as a new layer. Go to Selections>Invert, hit delete.

 

5-C.) Select the "3 Circles" layer of your template. Go to Selections>Select All. Go back to Selections>float. Go back to Selections>defloat. Go to Adjustments>Softness>Soften. Copy your lighter paper, and paste as a new layer. Go to Selections>Invert, hit delete.

 

6.) Copy and paste your tube into your template. Duplicate your tube layer. Drag your duplicate tube layer below your circle frame. Position your tube where you like it in the frame (resize if necessary). Click on your paper circle layer, go to selections>select all. Go back select float, go back select defloat, go back and select invert. Click on your tube layer then hit delete.

 

7.) Make 2 more duplicate layers of your tube. Position the first duplicate in the first of the 3 small circles so that you can see the face. Use you magic wand and click inside the frame. Go to selections>modify>expand and expand the selection by 4. Go back and invert your selection. Click your tube layer and hit delete. (Repeat for the other 2 tube layers.)

 

8. Open your emblishments and position them to your liking. Add your text, and remember to add the appropriate copyright information. Save and you and you have a beautiful new tag.
